API Architect (Contract)

Hybrid - 3 days a week on-site (Southwark)

Principle Responsibilities
- Work as part of API Design and analysis team with responsibility for API Design, aligned to value streams.
- The architect is responsible for the analysis of the existing system and defining the API contract.
- Prepare Design Document and presentation for the stakeholders
- Work with Global Enterprise/Solution Architects to review end-to-end technical design.
- Review/Ensure the technical design is technically coherent and future proof and compliance with technology standards and regulatory obligations
- Identify any issues that may arise to delivery risk, formulate preventive actions or corrective measures and timely escalate major project risks & issues to senior management
- Provide professional consultancy/support immediately for application teams' queries/requests
